Your comments

Hi David,

Thanks for all your comments, they are really appreciated. The ability to edit the title of a set is actually already here; it's just a bit hard to find. If you click the title of a set:

the title will become an editable text field:

You can change the title there. Pressing Enter will save the new title.

I am working on making this a little more apparent.

Hi David,

Thanks for your suggestion. Can you be a little more specific about "drag and drop"? Are you talking about matching definitions as a way of memorizing the terms? Let me know.

Thanks for using Vocabulist. If you enjoy it, please share it!!

Hi David,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have added sorting options to our long term roadmap - let's see what happens!

Thank you for the confirmation. Originally, Vocabulist was going to use Wordnik, however the definitions were not as good as we would have liked them to be. We currently have a paid contract with Merriam-Webster to use their definitions.

Thanks - Ahan
Hello - Earlier today we pushed out a new version of Vocabulist which greatly improves our definition engine. It is now faster and more reliable. Please try your list again and let us know if it works.

Hi - We are working on this issue. What is happening is that our servers sometimes cannot handle the load when a list of definitions is compiled. This happens randomly, but especially with large lists of words and with words that have many definitions. Our current solution is currently in the works, but requires overhauling some of our definition code. We appreciate your feedback, and as soon as a new update goes live, we will let you know.

Thanks for supporting Vocabulist - every user counts!

Hi - Just an update on progress. I have looked through the logs and have found nothing out of the ordinary. I looked through our database and found your sets that were having issues. During my testing with your lists, I was unable to populate the longer list. Further research seems to reveal that there is a memory issue on our servers, that is causing a memory leak on large lists. I am looking further into isolating and fixing this bug. Thanks for sending it in.

Thanks for using Vocabulist!
